Installing LearnMate Agent (Windows OS required)

If using a school computer, an administrator account may be required to perform these steps.
Please ensure this is performed while IT is available in the event their assistance is required.
Intelitek personnel will not be able to resolve any issues if an Admin account is required.
In order to use CNCMotion or RoboCell without a license, you'll need to also have LM Agent installed.
- LM Agent can be downloaded from here.
- Installation is very straight forward, run the installer as an administrator and click next until finished.
- Once installed, this application runs in the background and is not directly interfaced.

Licensing CNCMotion or RoboCell from their course

If using a school computer, we highly recommend going through this process to confirm success while your IT department is available, should any changes to the computer be necessary.
With CNCMotion or RoboCell and LM Agent installed, you can license and launch the software from within the appropriate course at any time.
- Login at https://skillsusa.intelitek.com
- On your Dashboard, click the tile for your course.
If you don't see the course, please refer to the "Self-Enroling into Course" section above.
- Once in the course:
- For CNCMotion:

- Click any Activity from 2 and up.
- Select BenchMill 6x00
- Choose Metric or Imperial
- Click Start Activity
For RoboCell:
- Click any Activity from 3 and up.
- On almost all pages, you can use the "Launch" icon to download an .lma (LM Agent) file that will, when opened, launch and temporarily license CNCMotion or RoboCell for several hours of use.
In the CNC Milling course, this icon is found in the top left corner under the home icon.
In either Robotics course, this icon is found in the top right corner under the Glossary and Index.

- When the icon is clicked, your browser will download a .lma file named to your browser's configured download folder.
- You may be prompted to Save the file yourself, so choose an easily accessible folder on your computer, such as Downloads or Desktop.

- Open the file, either through your browser or by opening the save folder and double clicking the file.

- At this point, LM Agent will read the file in the background, launch and temporarily license CNCMotion or RoboCell for several hours!
- If you encounter any issues with this process, please refer to our help article to check and fix file associations in Windows. (This may require administrator rights, so please follow your schools' IT policy if using school a computer.)
- This .lma license file will expire after several hours, and so you will need to repeat the steps in this section to download another copy of the file in order to license the software again.
