We have LearnMate and our software is showing Expired.

When using Intelitek Software with LearnMate, you must use the launch button in the curriculum.
If you do not own LearnMate you will need purchase a seat of the software or enter the product key.
You may also need to install the LearnMate agent if you have not already done so.

If you see the below licensing window for any reason when trying to use Intelitek software in conjunction with LearnMate content, this article will cover troubleshooting steps to resolve Windows having the wrong file association.
In most cases, the association is mistakenly set to the wrong application when a user attempts to use Intelitek software, and LearnMate Agent was not installed first.




Checking the file association type in windows.

  1.  Goto Start and start typing Choose a default app for each then click it when it comes up.


      2.  Find .lma on the list of types, if it is not on the list please install the Learnmate Agent.
      3.  If it is on the list and shows Choose Default, RoboCell, CNCMotion, this needs to be fixedIt should show LMAgent when you check and icon should be the little rocket as shown below.


Fixing an incorrect file association

  1. Download a .lma using the launch icon in your LearnMate content or create a blank text document with the extension .lma.
  2. Right click the file and goto Properties
      3. Once the dialog opens click Change

      4. Click More Apps

      5. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the list in the window and then click Look for another app on this PC.
 

6. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Intelitek\LMAgent\LMAgent.exe, then select it and click Open.
      If there is no LMAgent folder, please install LearnMate Agent.


7. This should solve the issue of the software not licensing, when started from the launch icon within content.
