PLTW Licensing

PLTW Licensing

As a PLTW user, once you've requested and received a license (Form available here) you'll be looking to activate your software.

There are step by step activation instructions (PDF) attached to this article should you need guidance on the process in addition to what PLTW provides.

If you receive an error during the process that indicates an invalid license, first please double check that what was entered matched what was received.
We highly recommend copying and pasting the license into the field, so an input error is not encountered.
If you're entering a key that was hand written and seeing an error, please double check against the original e-mail that the key was written correctly.

Once you can confirm the key is accurate, you also want to ensure you have the correct version of software installed.
The easiest way to do this, is to ensure that the intelitek Licensing window displays "2020" at the end of the product name, as seen in the below example images for CNCMotion v6.1.4.x and RoboCell v7.0.18.x.

If you do not see 2020 displayed, you have the incorrect version and can download the correct version here.

If you see 2020 displayed and are receiving the error, it's possible for your school's network to be blocking communication to our licensing database.
Please contact your system/network administrator to confirm that access to https://newlic.intelitek.com is not blocked and that traffic over TLS1.0 is allowed.
You can visit the site yourself and if you see an entirely blank white page, access should not be blocked, but onlysystem/network administrator can confirm that for certain.
